Belinda Ireland, Art Therapist
My background in education brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to my work as an Art Psychotherapist.
I work with children, young people and adults as an experienced art therapist in Berkshire, supporting them to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences through both conversation and creative expression.
As an art therapist, I offer a flexible and supportive approach, creating a safe environment where clients can move at their own pace.
A Thoughtful and Supportive Art Therapy Approach
Art therapy offers a different way to express and process experiences, especially when words feel difficult. Sessions may involve drawing, painting or other creative methods, alongside conversation, depending on what feels right for you.
Art therapy can be helpful for a wide range of emotional and personal experiences, including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, trauma, self-esteem and times of change or transition. Sessions are guided by individual needs, with space to explore experiences safely and without pressure.
Art therapy sessions can also support those who are feeling overwhelmed, struggling with confidence or trying to make sense of difficult experiences in a calm and creative space.
No artistic experience is needed, the focus is on expression, not skill.
